Charlie Cordery

Charlie graduated from the Australian Catholic University Brisbane in 2013 and quickly focused his attention towards musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy within the private practice sector. He has been a part of the Junction Road Physiotherapy team since 2014.

Charlie is currently a physiotherapist with both the Brothers Rugby Union Club and Virginia Football club, focusing on strapping and on/off-field management.  Recently he has been working with Queensland Schools Rugby, Under 18 and 20’s Reds academy’s along with the Under 20’s Brisbane City URC team.

Having grown up playing a variety of different sports, Charlie has a thorough understanding of managing all forms of injury and how these injuries affect the everyday person. His passion lies with promoting people to be active and get the best out of their bodies. He has a special interest in core and lumbo-pelvic stability through functional exercise to rehabilitate his patients. His main focus is to teach clients to be able to control and efficiently use their bodies for long term rehabilitation solutions and better lifestyles.

Outside of the workplace Charlie loves to be active and spend time with family and friends. He recently has started in the triathlon world and is finding out how difficult it is, training for three sports at one particular time.
