Gina Nelson

 

Gina graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies in 2010. Prior to that she completed a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Otago in New Zealand.
Since graduating, Gina has worked in private practice with a particular interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She has worked as one of the physiotherapists for Brothers Rugby Union Club since she started with us, and is currently physiotherapist for the Brisbane City NRC team and assistant physiotherapist for the Queensland Reds. Her current role at the Reds see’s her traveling with the team, treating the players, strapping and providing the on-field management at all games.
Gina is also a qualified clinical Pilates instructor and has a strong focus on the importance of core stability throughout the rehabilitation process. She is also qualified in Dry Needling.
Gina hails from beautiful Queenstown in the New Zealand Alps and is a very keen skier.
